Yesterday, I woke up with joy in my spirit. I was that excited for this wedding. There are times I can't wait to share some images from a wedding and this just happens to be one of those times. I can't think of a better way to wrap up the 2015 season than this delightful Old Sturbridge Village wedding. Enjoy the previews!
This wedding is near and dear to my heart for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that my family has known Emily and Vince for many years and we love them dearly. Beyond this, we enjoyed the most excellent company of fine friends and family. Fall was in full glory in the quiet Connecticut town of Pomfret and the guests admired the creeping ivy covering Clark Chapel- reminiscent of an autumn at Oxford. The ceremony, complete with a worship set from a talented group of friends, ended with a short time of fall treats on the Pomfret School lawn. The night drew to a close with a phenomenal reception at the Mansion at Bald Hill in Woodstock. Friends and family parted ways but left with the warm glow of a memorable day wrapped in the blessing of much-anticipated union.
Daniella and Rob are awesome and so was their wedding. There's no better feeling than packing my gear at the end of a wedding celebration and giving a big hug to the bride and groom and knowing that was just happened was so much more than a business transaction. When I connect with a couple...that's why I do this. I hope that you are as infected with Rob and Daniella's smiles as I was that whole day! Also, how great is the Webb Barn? I wish I could shoot there all the time. Enjoy!
